MAC Cosmetics’ artists hit the streets to commemorate World Aids Day
On November 27, 45 make-up artists from MAC Cosmetics’ stores throughout New Zealand will participate in volunteer events to commemorate World Aids Day (December 1).
They will hit the streets in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch to sell red ribbons, funds from which will go to the Wellness Fund.
The Wellness Fund is accessed by several HIV support groups in New Zealand.
The New Zealand make-up artists join their international counterparts at MAC and to promote the MAC Aids Fund.
The Wellness Fund Red Ribbon collection buckets will remain on all New Zealand MAC counters from November 27 to December 2. Viva Glam products, such as the Viva Glam VI lipstick (left), will continue to benefit the MAC Aids FUnd.
MAC will also present a cheque for NZ$21,000 at its flagship Chancery store to Body Positive, to support its free rapid HIV testing campaign, Take Control, Take the Test.
