Many books have already been written about US First Lady Michelle Obama and her style, and we’ve heard of another launching at the end of October. Mrs O: the Face of Fashion Democracy, by Mary Tomer, is released on the 28th, and promises to be one of the most beautifully presented on the First Lady and her style.
   ‘It is difficult for many, myself included, to separate how we feel about Michelle Obama, the woman, and how we feel about her style. We are intrigued by the composite woman—an accomplished professional, a devoted mother, wife and daughter, a woman in touch with her own well-being, who manages to pull it all off with an impeccably chic sense of style.    While Tomer focuses on Mrs Obama’s time on the campaign trail and as First Lady, there are some photographs from her high school and college days and her wedding.
   Its publisher, Hachette, says the book includes interviews with or quotes from Jason Wu, Isabel Toledo, Maria Pinto, Michael Kors, Thakoon Panichgul, Maria Cornejo, Peter Soronen, Isaac Mizrahi, Jenna Lyons (J. Crew), Kai Milla, Donna Ricco, Carole Tanenbaum, Loree Rodkin, Karen Erickson, Andrew Leon Talley, Diane von Furstenberg, Narisco Rodriguez, Sonia Rykiel, Rosella Jardini, and Junya Watanabe.
