Handbags
From the catwalk to the showrooms around Manhattan, there was a veritable abundance for women who don't believe they have enough handbags. There was enough variety—from cushy hobos, sensible satchels, and luxurious totes to jumbo organizers (that serve as a stylish briefcase by day and a carry-all shoulder bag the rest of the time), sleek, chic envelope clutches and structured pouches for evening—to drive anyone to totally max out their credit cards. On the runway, we had the fun, girly-girl whimsy of Anna Sui's heart-shaped evening bag and Zac Posen's two-tone saddle bag. In the showrooms, Kate Spade, Ellis Krueger of Tocca and Escada all showed a wide variety of styles.

Hats
On the runways, designers all used hats to add that extra oomph to their designs. Best of show here include James Coviello, Zac Posen's deerskin equestrian toppers and Sass & Bide's mad-hatter chapeaus—the perfect accompaniment to their take-it-or-leave-it, fun pieces.

Jewellery
Anna Sui (below) scored a direct hit with the artfully piled-on jewellery that accessorized her critically-acclaimed collection, and Marc Bouwer's understated earrings in precious and semi-precious stones were simply fabulous.

Scarves
Carolina Herrera's knitted scarves are perfect for on-and off-the ski slopes, and the lovely animal skin scarves from Zang Toi, Chado Ralph Rucci (below right), Carmen Marc Valvo (below left) goes beyond subliminal luxury. David Chu (for Nautica), Ron Chereskin and Jack Spade also served up a host of choices for men.

Shoes
Today, one's outfit is not complete if your shoes are a style no-no. In some places, it's a career killer. Designers in New York all managed to come up with choices guaranteed to have toy swooning. Best of show include Ron Chereskin's pointed toe dominatrix boots, the Dangerous Liaisons—worthy laced-up number from Katie Stern for Venexiana and the sexy leopard print boots from Escada.
