RANCK SORBIER showed at the Opéra
Comique with one of the classiest settings at Fashion Week in Paris.
A solo pianist, Michel Runtz, accompanied the models, who showed
16 garments between the four of them. Runtz composed original music
for the event.
Led by supermodel Adriana Sklenarikova Karembeu,
Sorbiers clothes showed passion and energy. Karembeu walked
on to a catwalk strewn with red and white roses, preparing us for
the colours of what the designer called his Planète
Couture collection. These colours, along with black, were
the principal ones of the range. Sorbier decided to go for minimalism
rather than overornamentation.
