This season's creations are done in navy blue with red and white trimming on selected pieces. Some items where paired with pieces of the American flag but I am quite sure when these pieces hit the stores they will not have this accessory.
The core to this collection is the cut and line he uses to produce such wonderful clothes. It helps to know who your customer base, which is very evident with this collection for fall. His mastery of design shows through with fine wearable jackets and slacks along with exquisite eveningwear which screams sophistication. Of note is the "star gown", a jaw dropper and sure to be a red carpet contender among actresses.
I have always favoured the tune of " give women what they want" when it comes to fashion design. There are some designers who ignore this plea and suffer greatly but others revel and produce just what is needed—like Mr Toi. Remember there is a difference between a want and a need, and needing elegant, well-tailored clothes should be on every woman's list. Richard Spiegel
