ALIZIA, La Perla's swimwear brand, picks up on the feminine trends of the season as shown in Lucire's 'About lace' feature last month.
   Lace showed strongly around the world in the lingerie sector this summer, but it was a surprise to see that Malizia had used this material effectively for swimwear. The company claims that this is one of the ‘strongest trends’ this season. Lightness—yet another theme that had been present—makes its way over to Malizia, with stretch lace and lingerie-influenced colours such as black, pink and beige.
   As shown at left, the brassière-bretelle style reported in Lucire late last year has influenced swimwear design, thanks to La Perla’s strength in these markets with its numerous brands. It appears that jewellery worn around the hip is another fashionable trend for the season at the group.
